Language test according to ICAO In order to ensure a smooth and understandable radio communication for all participants, the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Authority) has defined English as the standard language.
Since not everyone who flies comes from an English-speaking country, it was of course necessary to set a minimum standard.
ICAO language proficiency test
For this reason, anyone wishing to become a pilot and fly outside his or her country must take an English language proficiency test (ICAO language proficiency test).
This test must be passed with at least level 4 of 6.
The test includes an oral examination and a listening comprehension test.
We have been working closely with an LTO (language testing organization) for years in order to be able to offer this exam as well.
