TV and radio moderator Marcel Wagner supports pilot team

After his training as a commercial helicopter pilot at the well-known flight school of Heli Transair, moderator Marcel Wagner is now supporting the aviation company in Egelsbach near Frankfurt as a pilot. 

"As a child I had two big dreams: To become a TV and radio moderator and to be able to fly helicopters. With my CPL training and my current employment with Heli Transair, both childhood dreams have come true, for which I am enormously grateful and about which I am incredibly happy," smiles Wagner, who works as a news presenter for the Media Group RTL Germany as well as for Hessischer Rundfunk (hr3).

In 2014, Marcel Wagner started to study for a private pilot's license for helicopters (PPL(H)) and in 2018 he decided to train as a professional pilot (CPL(H)) while working part-time.

"During his training at our flight school, Marcel Wagner impressed us so much with his flying skills and his open-mindedness that we are now happy to be able to use him as a helicopter pilot in our flight operations, if his tight schedule allows," says Dirk Herr, the managing partner of Heli Transair, looking forward to the cooperation.
