Start of training at Heli Transair

The training of eight new student pilots starts today, at Heli Transair's renowned flight school in Egelsbach. Five of them will be trained as commercial pilots at the aviation service provider's main site, while three will acquire a private pilot's license.

"I am very pleased about the high level of interest and the many registrations for our first course in 2021. We warmly welcome the new students and wish them much success and fun on their way into the cockpit," says Dirk Herr, the company's managing partner.

Due to the Corona pandemic, theoretical training will take place online, for which Heli Transair has developed an appropriate concept and launched it together with the German Federal Aviation Authority.

"For more than 30 years, we have been known for the quality of our training and will also offer the new students the best possible instruction," promises training manager Jan Veen, who is equally looking forward to the five new students: "A warm welcome".

Heli Transair's flight school is one of the leading providers of helicopter training. In addition to licenses for private and commercial pilots, the offer also includes type ratings, the instrument rating and Multicrew Cooperation (MCC) on the in-house simulator (FNPT II). The next start of training for prospective pilots is in July.
