Renewals of the FNPT-II simulator of Heli Transair
Not only the employees of Heli Transair, but also the students of the renowned flight school can rejoice, because: The FNPT-II simulator of the aviation company Heli Transair was thoroughly overhauled and newly upgraded in the last few days.
"As the beamers in our simulator had reached the end of their service life, they had to be replaced. In the course of this, the graphics program was also renewed and replaced by the program "X-plane 11"," says Dirk Herr, managing partner of Heli Transair.
X-Plane 11 is the latest version of the accurate flight simulator series and includes even more realistic graphics than the previous version. For example, in addition to several new features, the program offers more than 3,000 airports with 3D buildings and different weather conditions that can be changed during runtime.
"With this new program, our students will be able to use the FNPT-II simulator more intuitively and get the impression of a truly real environment through the much more realistic graphics. In addition, we will be able to use an EFB (electronic flight back) in the future. This means that navigation will be possible via an iPad," says Fabian Puls, Heli Transair's flight operations manager.
