Heli Transair renews its fleet: New Bell 505 takes work flights to a new level
The renewal of the Heli-Transair fleet continues at full speed: a brand-new Bell 505 is now reinforcing the work flight division – modern, powerful, and ready for any mission. The new all-rounder replaces one of the Bell 206 aircraft previously in use.
The versatile 505 is equipped with an external load hook, making it perfect for precise aerial operations – such as construction site work or material transport. Thanks to state-of-the-art Garmin G1000 avionics, pilots enjoy maximum visibility, safety, and efficiency. The new aircraft also features an autopilot and air conditioning, making it ideal for passenger flights. It can also be used for training, sightseeing flights, and cargo flights.
A special highlight: the new Bell 505 can be flown from both sides. This provides even greater flexibility and makes demanding work flights much easier – for example, on high-voltage power lines.
“With the new Bell 505, we are relying on state-of-the-art technology and creating the best conditions for efficient and safe flights,” says Dirk Herr, managing partner of Heli Transair. “It is another important step in the ongoing modernization of our fleet.”
Robin Holighaus, flight operations manager at Heli Transair, also emphasizes the advantages in daily use: “The Bell 505 impresses with its performance and flexibility. In particular, flying on both sides opens up new possibilities for our pilots on challenging work flights – a real benefit for our operational practice.”
With the new Bell 505, Heli Transair is sending a clear signal: state-of-the-art technology, maximum safety, and maximum performance – for customers and partners who rely on quality from the air.
With the new aircraft, Heli Transair is continuing to implement the announced renewal and expansion of its fleet. Several Cabri G2, R44, Bell 505, and H125 helicopters will follow in the coming months.
