Advanced training for maintenance operations staff

Heli Transair's aviation maintenance operation is sending its aircraft mechanic Kevin Lohmann to a CAT B.1 training course in Berlin.

"It is important that our employees receive continuous support and training to fulfill the requirements of our customers and the authorities at all times," says Dirk Herr, managing partner of the company headquartered in Egelsbach near Frankfurt.

The aim of this 60-day training course is to obtain the authorization to release helicopters after maintenance work on the structure, engine or mechanical system.

"Kevin will provide us after this course with additional opportunities and greater flexibility in our maintenance operations. We wish him accordingly great success and fun in Berlin," adds Maintenance Operations Manager Mark Johnson.

Heli Transair's EASA Part-145-compliant aviation maintenance operation is one of the leading providers in Germany and performs maintenance and repair work for the helicopter types A109E, A109S as well as AW109SP from Leonardo Helicopters, H125 and EC120 from Airbus Helicopters, Cabri G2 from Guimbal and R22 and R44 from Robinson.
