Heli Transair expands fleet: Three more Bell 505s ordered

With this investment, the company's Bell 505 fleet grows to a total of five aircraft—the largest 505 fleet in Europe. The renewal of the Heli-Transair fleet continues at full speed: a brand-new Bell 505 is now reinforcing the work flight division – modern, powerful, and ready for any mission. The new all-rounder replaces one of the Bell 206 aircraft previously in use.
New helicopter for flight operations and flight training: Heli Transair relies on EC135
A shiny new addition has recently arrived on the apron of aviation service provider Heli Transair at its Egelsbach site near Frankfurt: an EC135 from Airbus Helicopters. The twin-engine helicopter is regarded worldwide as the benchmark machine for training and professional operations. Thanks to state-of-the-art avionics, powerful engines, and a particularly quiet rotor system, the EC135 offers ideal conditions for transporting passengers and cargo as well as for training, especially in the area of instrument flying. In addition, flight students benefit from the high level of safety equipment and reliability of the model, which is also widely used in police and rescue fleets.
Pilot training for Lower Saxony police successfully completed
‘In order to successfully train pilots for their future police service, you need experience, state-of-the-art teaching methods and detailed consultation with police officials so that you can tailor the training to their specific needs,’ explains Dirk Herr, Managing Director of Heli Transair, adding: ‘All of this has come together here and has been a great success.’
Change in the shareholder structure
The aviation service provider Heli Transair, headquartered in Egelsbach near Frankfurt, now has a new principal shareholder. Christoph Klein, managing director and shareholder of CK Invest GmbH and Kitz-Air GmbH, has acquired 90 per cent of the shares, with the remaining ten per cent remaining with Dirk Herr, who remains managing director and accountable manager of Heli Transair.
