We set standards!
Commitment and responsibility guide our actions off the airfield as well. As a successful company, we are committed to helping people in need: We have taken over sponsorship for two girls and two boys in poor communities around the world and support various charity projects in our neighbourhood. Our charity events with the doctors’ rock band “Lickin’ Boyz” have become legendary...

Rock in the hangar with the “Lickin’ Boyz”
16.11.2012 - Rock out for a good cause! On 3 November 2012, the time had come: For the second time, the doctors’ band Lickin’ Boyz gave a charity concert in our hangar at the Egelsbach Airport. Seven music-making doctors from the region hung up their white coats and slipped into rocker outfits. With classics from AC/DC to U2, they thrilled the audience in the sold-out concert hall.
Further highlights of the event: The newcomer band “SOUND.FILE”, five talents aged 12 to 14 years old from Mörfelden, fired up the guests. For a good cause, we also raffled off two sightseeing flights and auctioned off an electric guitar from the Frankfurt-based company Röhrenmanufaktur. The concert in the hangar raised 10,420 euros which go to the German Bone Marrow Donor Centre (DKMS). Since their first concert in 2008, the Lickin’ Boyz - which now also includes a lady - has brought in a total of 127,000 euros in donations!
Over 11,000 Euros for the Clown Doctors
16.12.2011 - On December 10th, our hangar was the venue for a special event: the charity rock concert of Lickin’ Boyz to benefit the clown doctors in Wiesbaden. Our helicopters had to make room for stage and visitors, and the entire airfield was geared up to receive several hundred visitors. The Lickin’ Boyz played rock classics of the past 40 years; however, already after the first song of the doctors’ band, the audience could no longer contain themselves. The concert was a great success – for the band, the clown doctors and their young patients, but of course, for all 536 visitors as well: A total of 11,279.70 euros were brought in for the clown doctors!
Four clowns from the clown doctors mingled with the audience and additionally created a lively mood. Normally, the clown doctors do not attend rock concerts, but visit children in hospitals and ensure with humour and laughter that the little ones quickly recover. A goal that is not only supported by the Lickin’ Boyz, but also by Heli Transair. In addition to the exceptional location at the Egelsbach Airport, Heli Transair contributed two sightseeing flights over the skyline, which were raffled among the visitors. We thank the Lickin’ Boyz and of course, all our visitors for a successful concert and excellent vibes!
