Grand Prize of medium-sized businesses - Heli Transair nominated
t is always a reason to celebrate, when hard work leads to success and recognition. The most recent example: Heli Transair has been nominated for the 20th competition “Grand Prize of medium-sized businesses” 2014 of the Oskar-Patzelt Foundation. Managing Director Dirk Herr: “Being nominated is a great honour, which we see as a challenge and confirms our performance and the quality of our work in all departments. My greatest joy is that the companies nominated for this prize cannot apply for it themselves, but must be proposed”.
Based in Leipzig, the Oskar-Patzelt Foundation has been responsible for this annual nationwide competition for 20 years now, together with Chambers of Industry, Trade and Commerce, the Federation of the German Service Industry (BDWi), with entrepreneurs’ and employers’ associations, with regional councils, cities and communities, as well as in co-operation with ministries, institutions and the media.
Dirk Herr: “We at Heli Transair agree with all objectives of the Oskar-Patzelt Foundation and welcome a competent expert jury that will carefully examine our company. Of course, I personally would be extremely pleased about winning the award and will do everything we can to achieve this goal! We will leave the Olympic motto – it is the taking part that counts – to the athletes who will contest for medals in Sotschi shortly”.
This nomination fills us with pride and highlights our single-minded commitment with respect to the following competition criteria for this award:
- Overall development of the company
- Job creation / preservation of jobs and apprenticeships
- Modernisation and innovation
- Commitment to the region
